One Gen is a non-profit organization created to inspire, mentor, and mold our future professionals.
How We Make a Difference
Through strategic mentorship and its four-phase interactive program, One Gen provides young adults with the necessary tools to navigate the challenges presented through the job search process. Each of One Gen’s four workshops offer straight-forward, immersive, and memorable experiences to introduce its students to, and continue to develop, the skills required to build a future in their respective professions. One Gen’s interactive workshops include resume building, networking skills, interview preparation, and financial literacy.
Each workshop features guest speakers and collaborative activities to help students develop and polish their interpersonal skills, and to foster and build durable relationships in the One Gen community. One Gen strives to teach its students how to navigate the professional world, but its workshops are simply training wheels. Upon completion of One Gen’s sustainable and efficient program, the training wheels come off and students ride into the professional world with no hands on the handlebars.
